Playing some riffs and testing the sound of my Zoom G1 multi-effects pedal plugged straight into my laptop mic/line-in plug (using a 1/4″ to 1/8″ stereo jack converter) using my Douglas Shadow Gold (Les Paul goldtop style electric guitar from RondoMusic.com). The sound isn’t that great going straight into the line-in like this (need some proper recording gear) because everything gets too muddy when there is too much volume and low end bass.
