I have a Fender Starcaster guitar effect pedal – a chorus. My chorus pedal clips (overdrives) when I strum. I did have a 9.6 volt power supply powering the chorus pedal for months before I got the correct 9 volt power supply for it. The 9.6v power supply had the correct ma and polarity and everything, it was just .6v more powerful. Since it’s an analog pedal, did the extra .6 volts damage the circuitry?
