Product Description

The DigiTech Hot Rod Distortion pedal is the world s most advanced distortion pedal. DigiTech s exclusive AudioDNA technology is what makes the Hot Rod much more than the standard distortion stompbox. Rather than working from a single distortion circuit, the Hot Rod features a Morph knob which lets you blend three independent distortion types. This gives you a wider variety of different distortion tones that can be dialed in quickly and easily. The Hot Rod has the same Morph & dual outputs as the Tone Drive but has a versatile, powerful, smoother rock distortion tone.

I’ve been using the hot rod for the last few months for guitar lines needing less distortion than what i have my amp (or danelectro fab tone) set to. The product’s description that the contour knob will give different tones is true, but to me they all sound like theyre being played through various sorts of tin cans, pipes, etc. I personally quite like these sounds but I am not sure how many others will. Like the other digitech pedals I own, this thing is very well built and easy to use.

I got this today for 20 dollars used at a local music store, and it rocks! You can go from classic rock to heavey metal. The morph control is really sweet. I would recomend this to anyone.
