Audacity is a free audio editing and recording application for Windows, Linux, and Mac. This short tutorial gives a quick demonstration of the some of its features that can be very useful when trying to figure out how to play a song on guitar (or any instrument for that matter). What’s going on? A: You are trying to open an unsupported file format, such as iTunes .m4a. Convert the file to MP3 or WAV and try again.
